David Robert Greenlee was born on June 9, 1976 at Nashville Memorial Hospital to his parents, Victoria Ann and David Paul Greenlee in Nashville, TN. Shortly after birth, David Greenlee moved to Houston, TX with his parents and siblings.
While in Elementary School, David was active in a variety of sports, including soccer, baseball, and basketball and excelled in Math and English. While at Greenwood High School in Bowling Green, David Greenlee remained active in numerous sporting activities such as soccer, basketball, and tennis while continuing to excel in a number of areas academically, including Math, English, Computer Programming, Marketing, and Economics. Additionally, David was also active as a member of the National Honors Society, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and the Chess Club, maintaining respectable grades throughout his tenure and graduating near the top of his class at Greenwood High in Bowling Green, KY.
Upon graduation from High School in Bowling Green KY, David Greenlee then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Electronics Technician. While there, David received numerous accommodations, meritorious promotions, and was awarded an expert rifle certification.
Upon completion of his tour, David Greenlee enrolled at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY pursuing a degree in Banking and Finance, and a minor in Computer Information Systems, and was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity where David remained active in a variety of events and functions at the university.
While in college in Bowling Green, David Greenlee worked for a large department store until gaining employment in an entry-level position with a local oil company. The firm was responsible for raising capital and funding project developments in such areas as Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Kentucky, Kansas, West Virginia and Wyoming. Throughout the course of David’s training was an introduction to a host of investments that eventually led to the procurement of a general securities license, as well as routine participation in such functions as account management, project coordination, and marketing. Since then, David’s career in the oil industry has advanced dramatically having been involved in the development of over 400 oil and natural gas wells across the country.
Today, David Greenlee’s activities primarily involve the development of oil and natural gas properties at the industry level, as well as the management and procurement of wholesale accounts, the provision of executive management services and training, appearing at various speaking engagements, hosting numerous promotional activities, and the performance of a host of consulting services for the benefit of private oil companies like Strategic Energy Consultants, Inc. or public entities like TexStar Energy Corp, among others.
